If you’ve a slight interest in flying an RC plane then it is highly suggested that you do your own research first by reading various publications such as books and magazines regarding R/C hobby or by watching videos that are available on the Internet in order to orient yourself of what would the things to expect later on. Also, before you try and attempt to fly a real thing, it would be great if you get your hands first on many R/C flight simulators that exist out there to have some great experience without destroying many planes.
Also, should you want to learn faster and to fly with more confidence, it is best if you get your own instructor to teach you the fundamentals and even some techniques that would surely help down the road once you decide to play solo later on. You can easily find an experienced instructor by asking your friends or asking someone on a flying club and ask for their recommendation. In case your instructor has a trainer system, it would be wise to get one for yourself too as it would minimize the risk of you controlling the RC plane in a way that you wouldn’t want to.
Once you have the idea, you can now choose between the different engine for your chosen RC plane and you have the option between 2-strokes, 4-strokes engine or you might as well as prefer the electric variety as it would be the silent of all types.
